A magical Tuscan dream with friends (and full of nostalgia)! We had a fantastic stay with our friends at Tenuta del Serra! Thirty years ago, we (now 66 and 67 years old) used to visit this kind of agriturismo with our children. It created lifelong memories that our children still look back on with great joy today. At Tenuta del Serra, all those beautiful, old memories came right back. The authenticity of the estate, the beautiful winding road up through hundreds of olive trees, the absolute privacy, and the surrounding nature make you instantly forget about daily life. You really feel like you are in a completely different world, and it is only a 20-minute drive from Pisa airport. Since we visited quite early in the year, it was unfortunately a bit too cold for the swimming pool. But that didn't ruin the fun at all, because the villa offers all the comfort you could wish for. The building combines the historic atmosphere of an old Tuscan fort with luxury and modern comfort. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is perfect for privacy. As someone who loves cooking, I was incredibly happy: the very well-equipped, spacious kitchen was a true blessing for long evenings of cooking and dining with friends. The local butcher in Vicopisano became my best friend in no time! What makes the stay extra special are the Italian-Dutch hosts, Myrthe and Marco. Thanks to this unique combination, communication is flawless and goes without any problems. Their hospitality is heartwarming. This estate is highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, peace, and authentic Tuscan enjoyment. We would love to come back again!

Absolutely perfect location! An extraordinary place with breathtaking views. The whole property is beautifully maintained and tastefully furnished, with every detail thoughtfully designed. The pool area is amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped — nothing is missing, making it incredibly convenient for cooking and spending time together. Surrounded by olive trees and still close to various supermarkets, the house is perfectly situated. We were a group of nine and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Myrthe and Marco were by far the best hosts we’ve ever had — warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to making our holiday unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Wat een fantastische plek! Tenuta del Serra overtrof echt al onze verwachtingen. De vakantievilla is in het echt nog mooier dan op de plaatjes! Het huis is ruim, smaakvol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook was het heel fijn dat elke slaapkamer z’n eigen badkamer heeft. Het privézwembad was een groot succes: met prachtig uitzicht over de Toscaanse heuvels. Fijne extra’s zijn het ligplateau in het zwembad (ook voor de kinderen om vanaf te springen), de buitendouche en het zwembadterras met schaduwdak. De ligging is ideaal: dicht bij Pisa, Lucca en Florence, maar toch midden in de natuur en zonder voorbijgangers. Vanaf het vliegveld van Pisa waren wij binnen 20 minuten daar. Dichtbij zijn ook vele supermarkten en restaurants. In het huis is ook een kleine wijnkelder, de 'cantina', waar je de eigen olijfolie en lokale wijnen kunt kopen. Heerlijk! We voelden ons meteen thuis en hebben enorm genoten van de rust, de ruimte en de Toscaanse sfeer te midden van honderden olijfbomen. Echt een aanrader voor iedereen die een luxe én ontspannen vakantie in Toscane zoekt! p.s. De vakantievilla ligt niet in de stad Pisa, maar in de gemeente Vicopisano. De eigenaars gaven aan dat er nog een probleem is met de juiste weergave op Google Maps.
